Set Free... A-gain!!!!!!! :o)

... and THANKFUL... :o)

Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus.

I'm thankful I don't mind crying in public or at least crying, while I'm driving, in public. I've become a WOOOOHOOOO person for just about everything exciting and new that people do, accomplish, or set out do. Today was just simply a WOW... WOW... WOW (If you're too impatient.. the MEAT'S in the very last paragraph!) ;o)

I don't know what it was about today that the Lord decided today was the day to share this revelation with me. But WOW.... I'm sooooo thankful that He did. And, I'm sooooo thankful for KLOVE because it was thru a message that a gentleman on KLOVE was giving, that the Lord gave me this revelation. I pray I hear it again, because I think I actually missed part of it, but what I did hear has totally changed my world.

ACCOUNTABILITY.... what does that have to do with forgiveness? Have you ever been 'wronged' by anyone? I'm sure we all have. I was and continue to be 'wronged' by some certain persons. It has gone on over a period of time and has been a process. First, I discerned that something appeared to be going on that was not the normal behavior of said person(s). Second, because I almost couldn't believe what was going on, I had to have patience (be quiet, be still, and rest in God) and see if these behaviors were going to continue or not. They did. And they did. And they did.

I did nothing, not even addressing things, for a long time. I needed to make sure that I wasn't misunderstanding things, or just being paranoid.
Really not only for myself, but so no one else could say something like that either, once I did decide to address these issues. Someone can try to discount something that happens once or twice by trying to say something was a coincidence and such. But multiple happenings by multiple people for an extended period of time, are NOT coincidences. I don't believe in coincidences anyway. I believe EVERYTHING happens for a reason.

Now, what does this have to do with accountability or the topic at all?
Great question! Well, I had forgiven who had wronged me. Not just once, but I've asked over and over again for the Lord to help me to forgive them, forgave them, asked Him to bless them abundantly, given them over to Him, asked Him to let His will be done in their lives, and so on.

I haven't understood how to walk it out though, because I do still have to have dealings with these people, and because nothing was ever acknowledged when I've tried to talk about it. THIS IS THE SET FREE PART!!!!!!! They DO NOT have to be ACCOUNTABLE to ME for me to still have dealings these dealings with them!!!!!!! They are ACCOUNTABLE to God. That is o.k., and THAT IS enough.

Ok, so here's the takeaway...

The gentleman on KLOVE had said that ACCOUNTABILITY DOES HAVE to do with forgiveness and revenge. Trying to make someone be ACCOUNTABLE, or admit their wrongdoing, is still a form of revenge, and God instructs us not to seek our own revenge, not to repay evil with evil. If someone will not or cannot admit a wrong, that does not have to do with us (me). Their inability or unwillingness to do so is between them and God. He says refer to the book of Obidiah. I had to look it up. The whole book is just 1 chapter; it's in the old testament.
I don't fully understand it, but the way the gentleman explained it, was about us not holding people accountable for a wrongdoing towards us, because God considers it revenge, and in this chapter and book of the Bible, it talks about God avenging His children.
It's pretty powerful. I think I just need a clip of that whole spot on KLOVE for my very own, so I can listen to it over and over again... as a reminder :o)

Kind of cliche, I guess, but GOD SAID IT, AND THAT SETTLES IT... for me, anyway. I did not realize that thinking or believing that someone needed to admit their involvement in a wrongdoing had to do with revenge after some point. Now that I do know that, I am totally set free and to think or believe anything different about it (for me... I'm only speaking for me right now) is to say that God is not big enough to fix this problem because HE is the one who gave me the answer.

Be sure and listen to KLOVE!!!!!!! The gentleman's name who had this very wise stuff to say was Larry Crabb of NewWay Ministries, if you want to check him out online.

TO GOD AND JESUS BE ALL THE GLORY!!!!!!!
